Here is a recap of my favourite pieces that I came across during past couple of months starting from Hong Kong Diamond & Jewellery Show in March to BaselWorld 2016, Luxury by JCK & Couture Show 2016 in Las Vegas.

Hong Kong March show is the second most important diamond & jewellery show that takes place in Hong Kong, right after the September show. The halls were packed with visitors and of course it was a sea of exhibitors starting from melee stones to extraordinary 50cts and above in rare colors and qualities. Jewellery show was similar in terms of exhibitors, there were jewelleres from all around the globe starting with semi-costume types to superb high-end brands and then rare vintage and antique pieces. BaselWorld 2016 was my first Basel World experience and needless to say until last day I couldn’t digest the how magnificent the show was, from the brands display which were phenomenal to new reveals in watch industry, the world of high-end jewellery and finally the sea of loose stone dreams, everything about BaselWorld was magnificent. Luxury By JCK 2016 fast forward to June and once again Las Vegas opened its doors to not one but 3 different annual shows, first stop was Luxury By JCK where the number of exhibitors were endless and if you could move fast enough through the hallways you would be able to get a glimpse of the phenomenal pieces that were up for display. I can’t emphasis enough that I needed at least 3 more days to be somewhat confident that I have seen at least 50% of the exhibitors by passing by their booth! after all it is the most important diamond and jewellery show in Northern America. Couture Show 2016 is happening along side the JCK each year with a very important difference, Couture is more emphasizing on design and creativity in jewellery. High end brands displaying their newly launched collections in luxury villas in Wynn along with lavish booths with amazing set up and layout that is so welcoming to walk through and enjoy the finest pieces of high-end jewellery in luxurious location that they should be. My Couture experience was rather short but in that limited time I managed to view enough pieces to be convinced that next year I have to spend more time at Couture! The big news!

I am going to attend Singapore International Jewelry Expo 2015 which takes place from July 2nd-5th at Marina Bay Sands Convention & Expo Centre Halls A & B. I will be there in the capacity of Champagne Gem to conduct interviews, sharing photos live on my Instagram account and in general cover the expo on social media to keep my followers up to date on what is happening with jewelry industry.

This is a very exciting opportunity for me to see all the jewelry pieces in person and have a better perspective on how each of them is made and the craftsmanship and the skills that have gone through making them.

I am back!
I think I owe you guys an explanation that where was I during past month, I was really really busy at work and couldn’t find a proper time to focus on what I want to share with you.

Recently during the March I have received heaps of comments on my post from May 2011 about Fred Leighton jewelry and now I want to share my new passion with you: Brooches!

Recently I am fascinated by brooches and the boost that they can give to your overall look just by a hidden touch.

Hello Jewelristas!

Royal weddings are just like all the fairy tales that we were fascinated by during our childhood, though I am still and will be in rest of my life.

2011 is one hell of lucky year as we had 2 royal weddings! remember my post on Duke & Duchess of Cambridge wedding?

Beside all the drama on Prince Albert II and Charlene Wittstock engagement and wedding, finally it happened and guess what, I cannot imagine her looking any other way than how STUNNING she was at the wedding!

The Lorenz Baumer Tiara and Van Cleef & Arples Necklace/Tiara are making me speechless.

I cannot say more, just check them out yourself!
I think the most exciting part of being a princess is having exclusive access to all the jewelries that you ever can dream of! sigh!

Good Morning Jewelristas from sunny but cold Melbourne!

Today I am going to talk about history!

welcome to France back in 1780 when Napoleon was the Emperor and our

sweet Josefine was love of his life and Empress! Before Napoleon take over

the power, Queen Marie Antoinette was reflection of beauty & style.

Marie-Etiene Ninot was working with one of Marie Antoinette jewellers and

that way he quickly built up an aristocrat clientèle and managed to open his

own shop. After the French revolution, he became Napoleon personal jeweller.

He designed the consular sword set with famous Regent diamond which weighs 140

carats as well the Crown jewels for the coronation.Ninot and son were succeeded by

talented workshop formen: Fossin, Morel & Chaumet!

Though Fossin (Artist Jeweller) & Morel (Ambassador of Style) had some significant

effect of jewellery design but Joseph Chaumet was the Master of Tiara!

Chaumet Tiaras soon became favourite of Royal & aristocrat clientèle and he opened his

boutique at 12 Place Vendome in 1907. He succeeded with his son Marcel and after that

by Jaque & Pierre Chaumet.

Now do your remember Blues???

Blue is the color for royal family and now I am sharing Chaumet master blues with you.
