Hi Jewelristas,

Last night I participated at the opening night of Stefano Canturi exhibition in Melbourne.
The exhibition show cases some of the very famous designs, the original sketches and drawings that Stefano did over the years. As always the pieces were stunning and the history behind each piece as well as the amazing drawings were mesmerizing.
The exhibition is located on fortyfive Flinders Lane and will be on from February 19th – March 2nd, so if you happen to be in the city that’s definitely a must see.

Last week we had the very first launch of Canturi Jewels new collection “Odyssey” for celebrating the 25th anniversary of jewellery design by Stefano Canturi in Melbourne salon and I was there to see the pieces in person and try them on.
Laura Brown the director of Harper’s Bazaar US was there to celebrate with Stefano & Patricia Canturi the milestone they have achieved.
ODYSSEY MEANING:
– An extended adventurous voyage or journey
– An intellectual or spiritual quest: an odyssey or discovery
The collection is playful and luxurious and travels beyond space, stars and limits by introducing the very first pieces of Canturi Jewels in Rose Gold. His adventurous journey is expressed through dreamy butterflies in flight, reaching stars that sparkle, resting on elegant flowers and capturing hearts along the way.
The 3 dimension pieces are breathtaking, charming and charismatic.

as promised here is another post on our Engagement Ring ritual, 
this time from one of the postmodern jewelers from Australia who
 is a marvellous designer for over 20 years:
His signature Cubism collection is inspired by the mood of cubism art 
movement that made him explore abstract and non-traditional styles.
He is designing rare and special pieces found in family heirlooms and 
Hollywood history.
I will have more posts on Canturi most precious and outstanding pieces
 that were also shown in famous movies and a gorgeous news for 
Barbie lovers like myself later.
