Haven’t talked about watches for a while but shared some pics on Champagne Gem’s Facebook page. I am growing on rectangular watches more and more, maybe just saw a fashion icon wearing them so urban chic or because my taste beginning to change, what do you think?

I have searched for some ideas and so far I narrowed my list of All Time Rectangular watches down to three most influential watch making brands ever:

Franck Muller: Art Deco, Grace Curvex

IWC: Da Vinci Family

Cartier: Santos Family
If I am ever going to buy and choose one of them, it would definitely be either Franck Muller or IWC as they are pure watch makers and I appreciate being anonymous (not so much head to toe branded) and high quality of craftsmanship.

Franck Muller just launched the Most Complicated Wrist Watch that was ever made and it contains 36 complications, 1483 components and 99 jewels.

My watch obsession starts with Ballon Bleu de Cartier! 

since the large watches are more trendy nowadays amongst 

women, the Ballon Bleu seems like the perfect fit, still if you like 

extra larger ones the same modelsare available on Medium 

models with 36.6 mm diameter instead of small models with 

28.5 mm diameter….so if you are after something sporty, classy and

just catchy you will find it in Cartier specially the ones in Pink Gold or 

Yellow Gold & Steel!
